Pearson Reviews: Covent Gardens Part Three

Meanwhile, kids will surely make a beeline for the reindeer petting enclosure, complete with helpful elves, or settle down for a session of magical candlelit storytelling from the mistresses of monologue – actors Olivia Armstrong and Chloe Davis. There are also craft workshops for the little ones, taking in everything from Christmas decoration creation to making Christmas puppets and cakes.
All this is sound tracked by a selection of traditional choirs, including the City of London Choir and Putney Choral Society and the City Of London Choir who’ll be joining the dots between Christmas songs, classic ballads and more contemporary material. There’s also the return of ‘Super Busking’, which sees big name chart-topping artists turn up unannounced for a series of secret gigs on the Piazza over the festive season. It’s all in aid of our partner charity Crisis, the national charity for single homeless people, who welcome nearly 2000 guests in nine centres across London this Christmas.

Pearson Reviews: Covent Gardens Part two

Get into the Christmas spirit by enjoying a little festive cheer, courtesy of The Mulled Wine Hut. Again, it’s easily spotted as the stall looks like a huge Christmas present. There’s also hot apple juice, minced pies and traditionally roasted chestnuts on offer. As well as the usual diverse collection of excellent stalls, there are gourmet Christmas treats from specialist suppliers and, joy of joys, a chocolate bar serving hot chocolate drinks and handmade sweet treats.

Pearson reviews: Convent Garden Part One

When it comes to Christmas, we’re keeping it old-school. November sees the launch of the sort of celebrations that will put a nostalgic grin on the face of every visitor. These are Christmas decorations, but done with the unmistakeable design flair of the UK’s premier lighting art collective.

Pearson Review: Snow Cover Scotland

Snow covered Scotland

Picture of Scotland this time last year. Would you believe that Britain came to a standstill a year ago. I live in the midlands and I though we had it quite bad. But to live up there must have been very tough.

These satalite image are very impressive to show the scale of the snow. It looks like something you would see in a film. The question is will we have it again this year. We know that Scotland have had  it bad already but I hope its not as bad as last year. If you search on Google you will be able to find more image of Snow covered Britain.   The only good thing about this year is that we havnt got to worry about grit shortages.

It nearly New Years!

Masquerade Masks

Its that time of year for parties and family get together. This particular topic is about my friend masquerade ball. Timothy Pearson is hold the Ball on New years eve at a county club in Worcestershire.  This is were men and women dress in a formal get together. The ladies wear a long evening dress and the gentlemen are wearing black tie wear. But the nice thing every one can wear a mask. If you look at the image above is a plain mask.  You can get more decorative versions. I have been to a few masquerade balls and it is a really good evening. I haven't got any complaints about the ones Ive been to and I must admit i think that this will a complaint free evening.

If any has any questions about any masquerade balls  ?! Please dont hesitate to get in contact with me.

German Market- What a BUZZ !!!

I went to the German Market last Saturday and It was amazingly busy. I had a good time and there was a defiant buzz in the air. Also they have moved the market down into New Street. I'm guessing this is to help trade in the center.
The food was great and the beer was spot on :-)!  I must say that the German Market is there best market I ever go to.

Brussels

Brussels

I have recently been to Brussels and what a beautiful place to got. I went there on a business meeting and I found the people to be really nice and there was a lovely atmosphere walking around the main town.
The food was very nice and the drinks was reasonable.  But I've got to say that the buildings were fantastic. The architecture was stunning. It was a shame I was only there for two days. I will go back and spend a long weekend there.
